Manual Handling (Compulsory)

Welcome to your learning on good manual handling practice at work. By the end of the module you'll be able to:

Give examples of common manual handling injuries and how they're caused

Identify manual handling risks to yourself and your colleagues

Determine and act on the best way to lift and move items around the office

The examples used in the module focus on an office environment but will apply to most work settings. If you work in an environment where special rules apply for good manual handling practice, ask your manager for additional training.
