Display Screen Equipment (DSE)

Welcome to your learning on Display Screen Equipment (DSE) health and safety in the workplace.

This module is designed to give you an overview of good DSE practice at work, and by the end of the module you will be able to:

  • Explain what DSE is and why it is important
  • Identify the risks of using DSE
  • Set up your workstation and influence your working environment to minimise risk
  • Be proactive about monitoring risk

The majority of public sector employees work in an office setting, so we will focus on this environment during the module.
